Route 1-1 Guide (PokéPath TD)

Route 1-1 is where consistency matters more than perfection. This guide focuses on how to read the map (choke points), what mechanics can break an otherwise “fine” run, and two practical setups: Progression and Farming.

Map Read & Choke Points

Step 1
Identify Primary Choke

Pick the point where enemies spend the most time in range (long corner/tight bend).

  • Concentrate main damage there
  • Keep utility/support close enough to apply consistently
  • Avoid scattering upgrades across too many positions

Step 2
Secondary Catch Position

A safety net for your main choke.

  • Clean up leaks
  • Provide emergency coverage if main choke is overwhelmed
  • Don't steal upgrades from primary choke

Key Mechanics & Counters

If you see a “stable” loop break, check these first:

Invisibility

You need a reliable counter (coverage or detection).

Shields

You need shield-breaking / sustained damage.

Regen

You need enough effective DPS or anti-regen approach.

Resist/Armor

You may need mixed damage types or armor-aware scaling.

Recommended Teams

A) Progression (Safe Clear)
Recommended

Use this when learning or stabilizing.

Core Idea

  • Main damage core at choke
  • One support/control slot
  • One flexible counter slot

Execution

  • Prioritize upgrades on primary carry
  • If you leak, fix positioning first

B) Farming (After Stability)
Advanced

Add economy/farm focus without breaking your counter coverage. Only after reliable clears.

Positioning Checklist

Primary carry covers the choke for maximum uptime
Support/control units can reach the choke reliably
“Leak catcher” covers the exit path or the last long lane
Counter slot placed where it actually applies (not out of range)

Common Failure Modes

“It was stable, then randomly died.”

Usually a mechanic appeared that you weren’t countering consistently (invis/shields/regen).

“Added farming, everything got worse.”

You shifted upgrades away from your clear core. Restore clear stability first.

“I keep leaking at the same moment.”

That’s a positioning/coverage issue—move units before you add more.
