Natu Guide (PokéPath TD)

Natu is a flexible invisibility answer slot: it’s listed as an "Invis Answer" alongside Honchkrow, and it exists to stop stealth waves from instantly ending your run.

Run-Ender Prevention

Invisibility is a common run-ender because normal towers can't target hidden enemies. The correct response is not "more DPS"—it's one dedicated counter slot. Natu fills that slot so your existing team can keep doing its job.

Placement (Same Rule as Honchkrow)

1
Front-Load Coverage

Place Natu early in the main kill zone. You need to reveal enemies before they walk past your damage towers.

2
Choke Point Uptime

Maximize uptime over your primary choke point (turns/merges) rather than placing it at the end of the path as insurance.

When to Upgrade

If stealth waves are frequent, move to longer-range options (Xatu):

  • Two Stealth Waves: Close together? Lock in a stronger detection slot permanently.
  • Stealth + Pressure: Pair detection with Control (Corsola). Do NOT sell your slows to buy detection; find the gold elsewhere.

Best Synergies

  • Keep Core: Control (Corsola/Ampharos) + Carry DPS (Boss).
  • Swap 1 Slot: Only rotate your utility/counter slot based on traits (Invis vs Shields vs Regen).

Common Mistakes & Fixes

Placing too late
Detection at the end of the track usually means you already took damage earlier. Reveal them at the start.
Selling the core
Don't rebuild your whole team. Swap just the utility slot for Natu and keep your stability.
