Honchkrow is the gold-standard invisibility answer: it reveals hidden enemies in a wide area so your whole team can target them. Invisibility is one of the most common "instant loss" mechanics, so treat Honchkrow as a plug-and-play counter slot.

The Stealth Killer
Invisible enemies can become untargetable by normal attacks—your towers look like they stopped working. The solution is to reserve one "Invis Answer Slot" and fill it with Honchkrow the moment you see stealth waves.
Best Placement
Front-Load Detection:
Put Honchkrow near the start of your main defense area so enemies are revealed before they pass your towers.
Give it coverage over the longest path or choke point, not a tiny corner where uptime is low.
Don't place it at the end "as insurance"—if they made it that far invisible, you've likely already leaked.
When to Lock It In
- Two Stealth Waves: If you see stealth waves appearing frequently, keep Honchkrow permanently for that run.
- Stealth + Pressure: If stealth appears with fast/tanky enemies, pair Honchkrow with Control (Corsola). Don't sell your slows to buy reveal!
