Farming Builds (Economy & Stability)

Farming isn't about clearing the map as fast as possible. Farming is about stability and uptime. You want enemies to stay alive long enough to generate gold (see common mistakes), but die predictably so you don't leak.

Build 1: Economy Farm Core

The standard template for Gold generation.

Community Note: "Persian + Ditto (Ditto transformed into Persian)" is commonly discussed as an economy core because it doubles your income source.
Required Roles
  • Economy Unit (Generates Gold on hit/kill)
  • Cloner (Copies the Economy unit)
  • Slower (Maximizes hits for Economy unit)
  • Backup DPS (Clean up leaks)
Flex Slots

Swap 1-2 utility slots for:

  • Thief/Loot units (Extra drop chance)
  • Stunners (If Slower isn't enough)
Conflict: Avoid high-burst towers early on. If you one-shot enemies, you can't hit them with Pay Day.

Build 2: Low-Attention Auto Farm

Best for AFK farming on easy routes.

Official pages mention Auto Mode works best once your setup is mathematically stable. Don't auto if you rely on RNG crits.
Required Roles
  • Global Range / Wide Unit
  • Self-buffing Carry (doesn't need manual activation)
  • Passive Slow field
Flex Slots

Fill with Passive supports (Auras).

Warning: Check back every 10-20 waves to spend gold. Even auto-builds need upgrades to keep up with scaling health.

The Farm Loop Strategy

Instead of banging your head against a wall on a hard route:

  1. Go back to an easier Route (e.g., Route 1).
  2. Run the Economy Farm Core.
  3. Collect Gold/XP needed for that one level 3 evolution.
  4. Return to the hard Route with your new power spike.
